Lover of all things natural, Ashli Marie grew up in Southern California. She studied Cultural & Medical Anthropology at California State University San Marcos. It was there where her interest in natural medicine was piqued after working with a Mexican curandero (healer). Soon after graduating with a Bachelors degree in Anthropology in 2010, she moved to a rural town in the forests of Northern California.
She continued to study herbs and natural medicine throughout the pregnancy of her son and birthed him in the comfort of her own home, with the assistance of a midwife and doula. After realizing that her son had extreme colic (due to multiple food intolerances), she began to study food & nutrition even deeper and also began to garden and homestead. Since then, she has studied and worked with cell salts, essential oils, homeopathics, flower essences and herbs.
In 2015, she became a certified yoga teacher through Passion Yoga School in Costa Rica. In 2017, she studied under Kathi Keville in her herbal apprenticeship program. In 2018, Ashli opened her apothecary, Earthen Abundance.
Ashli is passionate about healing bodies naturally and continues to learn and grow. She loves to wildcraft, cook, ferment, garden, hoop, practice yoga, and she home-schools her son. She believes the Earth is abundant with everything we need to survive and thrive.
